Important Disclaimer: Screen measurement precision depends on user calibration, display hardware characteristics, operating system scaling, and browser zoom levels. Do not rely on screen rulers for mission-critical, surgical, aeronautical, architectural construction, or high-tolerance industrial engineering applications where certified calibrated steel calipers or micrometers are legally required.
3. Privacy & Local Operation
The Service runs 100% client-side in your web browser. No measurement dimensions, coordinates, or device telemetry are transmitted to our servers or third parties. Calibration preferences are stored purely in your browser's local storage.
4. Intellectual Property
All code, interfaces, visual styling, diagrams, and educational text on Online Ruler are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use this tool freely for personal and commercial measurement purposes.
